Nia Long


Nia Long was born on 30th October, 1970 in Brooklyn, New York. Her parent’s names are Doc and Talita Long. She is an American actress.

She attended Catholic school and studied ballet, tap, jazz, gymnastics, guitar and acting. Due to the lack of employment opportunities in the Arts in Los Angeles when Nia and Talita first arrived there, Talita took various low-paying jobs, despite having two master's degrees that resulted in financial struggle for them. Nia's motivation to be successful was driven by her desire to help ease her mother's financial burden.

For 15 years, Nia was instructed by acting coach Betty Bridges, better known as the mother of Diff'rent Strokes child star Todd Bridges. Her first notable role was a three-year stint as Kathryn "Kat" Speakes on the soap opera Guiding Light (1991-1994).

She has appeared in leading roles in films such as Soul Food, Boiler Room, and Big Momma's House. In 2003, she joined the cast of the drama Third Watch where she played Officer Sasha Monroe until the series ended in 2005. She has currently picked up a recurring role on Everwood as Cassie, daughter of Irv Harper.

She was married with Massai Z. Dorsey on June 2001 and has 1 child.

Sonia Gandhi


Sonia Gandhi was born on 9th December, 1946 in Itali. Her parents name are Stefano and Paola Maino. She was named the third most powerful woman in the world by Forbes magazine.

She was the Chairperson of the ruling United Progressive Alliance in the Lok Sabha, until she resigned on the 23rd of March 2006.

She is a widow of former Prime Minister of India, Rajiv Gandhi, who was the grandson of Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of India.

On 28th May 2005 Smt. Sonia Gandhi was elected as President of the Indian National Congress by overwhelming support from across the country from all states.

Mrs Gandhi spent most of her life largely as a private citizen, except for the years, 1984 to 1991, when her husband, Rajiv Gandhi was Prime Minister and leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha. In response to widespread demands from the Congress Party, Mrs Gandhi entered public life before the 1998 Lok Sabha election, when she campaigned vigorously on behalf of the Party. She was elected as its Party President in April 1998.

Following her husband's assassination on 21st May, 1991, there were calls for her to enter politics by members of the Congress Party. After her refusal, the party settled on the choice of P V Narsimha Rao as leader and, subsequently, Prime Minister. She finally entered politics just before the 1998 national election.

In the Indian general election, 2004, when the ruling National Democration Alliance (NDA) was set to win a majority, Sonia launched an aggressive campaign, criss-crossing the country on the 'Aam Aadmi' slogan in contrast to the 'India Shining' slogan of the BJP-led NDA alliance.

Her son, Rahul Gandhi had also won election to the Parliament from Amethi constituency in 2004. Sonia Gandhi has written two books: Rajiv and Rajiv's World. In addition, she has also edited Freedom's Daughter and Two Alone, Two Together.

Monica Potter


Monica Potter was born on 30th June, 1971 in Cleveland, Ohio. She is an American actress.

She was a part of the St. Jerome Parish in Cleveland, and attended the local elementary school, as well as Villa Angela Catholic School for Girls, before graduating from Euclid High School.

Miss Potter first dipped her toe in the ocean of show business back in Cleveland. Her father sent a blossoming 12-year-old Monica's photograph to a local modeling agency, which hired her immediately. When she was 18, she moved to Miami, Florida, and landed a job on a children's show that shot in Peru, which she described as the "disaster of disasters."

At the age of twelve, Potter started modeling and appearing in commercials in Chicago and Miami, before deciding to pursue an acting career. Her first role was on the daytime soap opera, The Young and the Restless.

In 2001, she had two major roles, co-starring with Freddie Prinze Jr. in Head Over Heels, and with Morgan Freeman in the thriller Along Came a Spider. She had a recurring role on the television series Boston Legal from 2004 to 2005.

Potter was married to Tom Potter, with whom she has two sons, from 1990 to 1998. She married Daniel Christopher Allison, an orthopedic surgeon, in June of 2005.

Isla Lang Fisher


Isla Lang Fisher was born on 3rd February, 1976 in Muscat, Oman. She is an Australian actress, model and author.

She played Shannon Reed, a fiery, opinionated teenager, on Australian soap Home and Away from 1994 - 1997.

Since arriving in Britain she has appeared in many magazines and TV programs while also attending drama school in Paris. She has had two top selling novels. Recently voted 24th sexist woman of 99 by leading men's magazine FHM and previously voted 11th in 1998, Isla has no problem in finding a man.

Most recently, she starred in Wedding Crashers with Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn, and Rachel McAdams, and won praise for her comedic performance in the movie. In 2006 she starred as Becca, a Manhattan party host in the offbeat relationship drama London alongside Jessica Biel, Chris Evans and Jason Statham.

She was officially crowned 1000th guest on Rove Live, a popular Australian talk show, on 2nd August, 2005. She was visiting the show to promote the film Wedding Crashers with co-star Owen Wilson. She entered the set ahead of Wilson, thereby winning the title by a mere two metres.

Ali Landry


Ali Landry was born on 21st July, 1973 in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. She is a model and actress best known as the 1996 Miss USA.

Her first foray into pageantry came in 1990 when she was crowned Miss Lousiana Teen USA. In 1996 Landry became Miss Louisiana USA and went on to win the Miss USA pageant. She competed in the 1996 Miss Universe pageant in Las Vegas and finished in the top six. In later years she has been a hostess for Miss USA.

Her first major appearance into the celebrity world was as a child actress in the TV series, "The Bold and the Beautiful". This hot Cajun vixen was raised in seaside Breaux Bridge.

Ali is probably best known to most of us as the "Doritos Girl", the beautiful woman who walks through a quiet library room, and activates the sprinkler system because she is so hot. Ali is a hot sexy woman, guys love her, and she probably wouldn't be in the ads otherwise. The advertisement would have us believe the chips are responsible for setting off the fire alarm.

Landry married longtime boyfriend Mario Lopez on 24th April, 2004, but two weeks later she had the marriage annulled because of allegations that he cheated on her during his bachelor party. She became engaged to film director Alejandro Gomez Monteverde on Memorial Day, 2005. They were married on 8th April, 2006 in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.

Landry has participated in the show Fear Factor, and was runner up. She is an avid athlete and also participated in the Boston Marathon.

Liv Tyler


Liv Tyler was born on 1st July, 1977 in Portland, Maine, USA. She is the daughter of Steven Tyler and Bebe Buell. Liv has a unique natural sultry sophistication about her.

Liv is presently starring as Arwen in the mega-box-office hit "Lord of the Rings- Trilogy", and the smell of an Academy Award lingers in the air.

She began a modeling career at the age of 14, though she soon soured on that profession. While shooting a commercial on location in the stifling Amazon the following year, Liv decided she wanted to pursue acting. Ironically, a cinema agent read about the intriguing Liv in an article by The New York Times concerning children of the rich and famous, and officially "discovered" her. Liv's first feature role was as the older sister of an autistic boy in the Bruce Beresford straight-to-video drama "Silent Fall".

Liv's next acting triumphs came in Tom Hanks's directorial debut, That Thing You Do!, in which she played the groupie-girlfriend of a small-town band circa 1964, and in Pat O'Connor's Inventing the Abbotts, in which she played another small-town sweetheart.

She gamely entered the big-budget arena in 1998, co-starring with Bruce Willis and Ben Affleck in Disney's Armageddon. 1999 brought roles in Robert Altman's Cookie's Fortune, in which she engaged in small-town slapstick romance with Chris O'Donnell, and in Plunkett & MaCleane, which positioned her as the aristocratic inamorata of a highwayman.

She got married to Royston Langdon in Barbados on March 25, 2003 and has one child.

John David Ashcroft


John David Ashcroft was born on 9th May, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. His parents names are James Robert Ashcroft and Grace P. Larsen.

He was the 79th Attorney General of the United States. He served during the first term of President George W. Bush from 2001 until 2005. Ashcroft was previously a U.S. senator from Missouri (1995 - 2001) and the Governor of Missouri (1985 - 1993).

He was educated in Springfield, Missouri, and at Yale University, where he graduated in 1964. He received a J.D. degree from the University of Chicago in 1967, and briefly taught business law at Southwest Missouri State University.

In 1994, He became a leading opponent of the Clinton Administration's Clipper encryption restrictions. Ashcroft is a member of the Assembly of God church. Whenever he was sworn in to any political office, he had himself anointed.

Following his Senatorial defeat, Ashcroft was nominated as U.S. Attorney General by president-elect George W. Bush in December 2000. Ashcroft was confirmed by the Senate by a vote of 58-42, with most of the Democratic Senators voting against him, citing his previous opposition of desegregation and abortion rights.

Madhuri Dixit


Madhuri Dixit was born on 15th May, 1967. Her parents names are Shankar and Snehlata Dixit. She was married an Indian American physician from Denver, Dr. Sriram Nene, in 1999. She has two sons.

She is a famous Indian Bollywood actress. She is a native of Mumbai, India. Throughout the late 1980s and the 1990s, she dominated Hindi cinema, appearing in many hit films. She is trained as a Kathak dancer.

Madhuri Dixit whose ambition was to become a Micro - Biologist instead, became a number one star in the tinsel world and has remained so justifying Ghai's predictions for her.

Madhuri Dixit made a humble beginning with the Rajshris in a much forgotten film 'Abodh'. Her first major role was in Tezaab (1988). She starred in the popular films Dil (1990), Beta (1992), Khalnayak (1993), and Anjaam (1994).

In 2002, she starred in Devdas, with actor Shahrukh Khan. Madhuri Dixit was applauded for her superb acting in the film. The film attracted worldwide attention and was featured at the Cannes Film Festival.

On 25th February, 2006 she performed on stage for the first time in six years at the Filmfare Awards to music from her last movie Devdas. Madhuri Dixit has been the muse for the famous Indian painter M.F.Hussain who considers her the epitome of the Indian woman. She also appeared in his film Gaja Gamini (2000).

Mischa Anne Barton


Mischa Anne Barton was born on 24th January, 1986 in London, England. She is American actress and model.

Barton graduated from the Professional Children’s School in Manhattan in 2004.

Barton began her acting career at the age of nine in New York Theatre with a lead role in Slavs!, written by Tony Kushner.

She made her film debut in Lawn Dogs, which won awards at film festivals around the world. She has appeared The Sixth Sense, Notting Hill, and Lost and Delirious.

Mischa Barton first appeared on television in 1994, as a younger Lily Montgomery in All My Children. She also had a one-time appearance in the Fox's show Fastlane, and appeared in the video for "Goodbye My Lover" by James Blunt. She has also appeared in Enrique Iglesias's video, Addicted.

She has appeared in advertisements for Aeropostale, bebe, Dooney and Bourke, JC, and Neutrogena. Barton is best known for her role as Marissa Cooper in the TV series The O.C.. That role ended in what appears to be a fatal car accident for Marissa during the third season's finale, aired on 18th May, 2006.

Rani Mukerji


Rani Mukerji was born on 21st March, 1978. Her father name is Ram Mukherjee and mother name is Krishna She is a popular Indian actress in Bollywood movies.

She began her film career with the Bengali film Biyar Phool. Her debut, with producer Salim's 'Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat' (1996), too turned out to be a damp squib at the box-office. The first was 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' (1998) director Karan Johar, who sought her out for a role that many a star had turned down. The second was Vikram Bhatt, who cast her as the leading lady in 'Ghulam' (1998).

Her career seemed to be stalled, until she starred in the 2001 film Saathiya. In 2004, Mukerji starred in Hum Tum, Yuva and Veer-Zaara. Her performance in Hum Tum won her the Filmfare Best Actress Award. She also won the Filmfare Best Supporting Actess Award for Yuva. Veer-Zaara was the biggest hit of 2004 and was favourably received at the Berlin Film Featival.

In 2005 she starred in the films Black, Buntu Aur Babli, Paheli and Mangal Pande the Rising.

Kelly Brook


Kelly Brook was born on November 23, 1979 in Rochester, Kent, England.

Kelly emerged from the school in her early teens and found her way into numerous dance videos. A photographer introduced her to a modeling agent.

After winning several modeling competitions by the tender age of 16 she found herself gracing the covers of GQ, FHM and a sea of other magazines. It is believed Kelly’s big break was the result of a humongous ad featuring her in Triumph Flaunt underwear in downtown London. This ad was considered to be the biggest of its time and not long after, she landed the position of Big Breakfast presenter on Britain’s channel 4.

She has gone on to host or co-host a number of television shows including MTV Select and Love Island. Anthony Charles Lynton Blair


Anthony Charles Lynton Blair was born on 6th May, 1953 in Edinburgh. He is a son of The son of a barrister and lecturer. He is the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, First Lord of the Treasury, Minister for the Civil Service and MP for Sedgefield.

Blair led Labour to power with a landslide victory in the 1997 regneral election replacing John Major as Prime Minister and ending 18 years of Conservative government. He is the Labour Party's longest-serving Prime Minister, and the only person to have led the party to three consecutive general election victories.

The youngest person to be appointed Prime Minister since 1812, he has deployed British armed forces into four conflicts: in Kosovo, Sierra Loene, afghanistan and Iraq.

At the age of 14 he returned to Edinburgh to finish his education at Fettes College. He studied law at Oxford, and went on to become a barrister himself.

Since the 11th September attacks on New York and Washington, Blair's political agenda has been dominated by international affairs, especially with the United States-led "War on Teror". He has controversially supported some aspects of US President George W. Bush's foreign policy, including sending British troops to participate in Afghanistan since 2001, and in Iraq since 2003; Blair's related anti-terrorism legislation has also been controversial.

In October 2004, Blair declared his intention to seek a third term but not a fourth. The Labour party won a third term in government at the 2005 general election for the first time in its history, although its majority in the House of Commons was reduced to 66. On 14th May, 2006, the Independent on Sunday reported that Blair had privately assured ministers that he would step down in the summer of 2007.

Robert Alan Labonte


Robert Alan Labonte was born on 8th May, 1964 in Corpus Christi, Texas.

He is an American driver and drives for the Petty Enterprises NASCAR Racing Team in the Nextel Cup Series. His car, number 43, is sponsored by Cheerios and Betty Crocker.

As of 2006, Labonte is the only driver to win both the NASCAR Winston Cup championship (2000) and the NASCAR Busch Series championship (1991). He also won the IROC (International Race Of Champions) title in 2001.

In his career he wins 3 International Race of Champions, one in 2000 and two in 2001. He also won 1 Craftsman Truck Series in 2005.

Charlie Sheen


Charlie Sheen was born on 3rd September, 1965 in New York City. His parents name are Janet Templeton and Martin Sheen. He is a Golden Globe Award winning American actor.

Charlie's interest in movies was not only peaked by his famous father, but also by several like-minded students from his high school days at Santa Monica, students like Rob Lowe and Sean Penn, future stars them. In his school his two major interests were acting and baseball.

Sheen began acting in 1974 at the age of nine, appearing in a small role alongside his father in the TV movie The Execution of Private Slovik. Sheen's film career began in 1984, and his first major role was in Platoon (1986). In 1987, he starred with his father, Martin, in Wall Street. In 2000, Sheen played himself in the comedy Being John Malkovich.

In 2001 and 2002 Sheen played the lead role in the political television sitcom, Spin City. In 2002 he won the Golden Globe Award for "Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Musical or Comedy" for this role.

Sheen was married to Donna Peele from 3rd September, 1995 to 19th November, 1996. On 15th June, 2002 he married actress Denise Ricjards after meeting her while filming Good Advice in 2001. They had two daughters.

Aamir Khan


Aamir Khan had the privilege of being born in a noted film family.

Aamir was first introduced as a child artiste in the 1970's hit Yaadon Ki Baaraat (1973) -- he was the youngest child in the trio. He 'quit' movies and went on to become the state tennis champion for Maharashtra.

He started his career in films with a runaway success called Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, a film directed by his cousin, Mansoor Khan.

There were hits like Dil, Dil Hai Ke Maanta Nahin, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander, Rangeela, Raja Hindustaani, Ghulam, Sarfarosh and there were the offbeat, critically acclaimed ones like Raakh, Earth-1947.

A seasoned artiste now, Aamir is slowly turning to production. His first film as a producer is a period film titled Lagaan. The film was done at a huge level and Aamir is said to have spent quite a handful in making the film.

Using classic "method acting", Aamir acts in all genres of Indian films - comedy, action, drama and romance. Though he performs in few films, Aamir Khan is acknowleged today as the most complete Indian actor for his diverse choice of roles and films.

His first wife name was Reena Dutta, married on 18th April 1986 and has 2 children and his present wife name is Kiran Rao married on December 2005.

Eddie Cibrian


Eddie Cibrian was born on 16th June, 1973 in Burbank, California. His parents name is Carlos and Hortensia Cibrian.

Eddie Cibrian became interested in acting at the age of 13 when he found out that a fellow classmate had broken into the business doing commercials. A natural athlete, Eddie decided to put his acting career on hold in favour of joining the high school football team.
After graduating from Montclair High School, Eddie Cibrian enrolled as a Business/Economics major at UCLA and took on a part-time job to make ends meet.

His first work being a starring role in Malcolm-Jamal Warner's Emmy Award-winning television special, Kids Killing Kids. From there it was on to daytime television, where Eddie Cibrian starred for three years as Matt Clark on The Young and the Restless.

In February 1997, Eddie Cibrian joined the cast of Sunset Beach as Cole Deschanel, the handsome jewel thief and grandson of town founder Armando Deschanel. Eddie has recently starred in TV movies, The Hitman, Logan's War - Bound By Honour, and also his feature film debut in Living Out Loud with Holly Hunter, Queen Latifah and Danny DeVito, released in the US on November 6th 1998.

The actor made a memorable feature film debut in "Living Out Lord (1998) " as Holly Hunter's masseur. Cibrian also appeared as himself in a cameo role in the Lifetime movie "Jackie's Back," and was seen in the independent feature "But I'm A Cheerleader! (1999)" opposite Natasha Lyonne and Clea Duvall. He also starred in the NBC/Hallmark Entertainment biblical miniseries "In the Beginning.”

Chuck Norris


Chuck Norris was born on 10th March, 1940 in Ryan, Oklahoma.

He is an American martial artist, action star, and Hollywood actor.

Norris finished high school and soon married his girlfriend, Diane Holechek. In 1958 Norris joined the United States Air Force as a Military Policeman and was sent to Osam Air Base, South Korea. Chuck Norris got into acting via his L.A. karate school where he instructed many celebrities and made his film debut in The Wrecking Crew (1968) although his offical website refers to Return Of The Dragon (1973) with Bruce Lee as his 'feature film debut'.

Norris' first starring role was 1977's Breaker! Breaker!, and subsequent films such as The Octagon (1980), An Eye for an Eye (1981), and Lone Wolf McQuade proved his increasing box office bankability. In 1984, Norris starred in Missing in Action, the first of a series of POW rescue fantasies produced by Israeli cousins Menahem Golan and Yoram Globus and released under their Cannon Films banner.

Over the next four years, Norris became Cannon's most prominent star, appearing in eight films, including Code of Silence, The Delta Force, and Firewalker, in which he co-starred with Academy Award winner Louis Gossett, Jr.

In 1986, he was involved in the production of the Ruby Spears Cartoon Karate Kommandos.

Tea Leoni


Tea Leoni was born on 25th February, 1966 in New York City. She is a daughter of Anthony Pantaleoni and Emily. Leoni married actor David Duchovny on 6th May, 1997. She is an American actress.

A graduate of Brearley School, The Putney School and Sarah Lawrence College, Leoni went on to star in a number of TV series and movies, starting as "Lisa DiNapoli" on Santa Barbara in 1989.

She starred in 1995's smash box-office hit Bad Boys, along with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. Her most commercially successful movie was Deep Impact. In 1993, she landed the starring role in Fox's Flying Blind, a short-lived sitcom.

In 1995, Leoni landed the lead role in the television sitcom The Naked Truth, playing Nora Wilde, a tabloid news journalist. The show was a minor hit and lasted until 1998.

Gabrielle Monique Union


Gabrielle Monique Union was born on 29th October, 1972 in Omaha, Nebraska.

She is an American actress. Among her notable roles is that of Isis, a cheerleader opposite Kirstern Dunst in the film Bring it On. She also played a medical doctor in the CBS series City of Angels.

She became an athlete in high school, competing in soccer, basketball, and track. During her senior year at UCLA, she took on an internship at a modeling agency and was often mistaken for a model herself. Seeing a future in the business, she dropped her plans of becoming a lawyer go and signed on as a model.

With the 2000 release of Bring it On, Union gained wide exposure. Her new fame landed her on magazine covers and talk shows, and she gained popularity among movie fans.

She also made a guest appearance in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine as a Kligon named N'Garen ("Sons and Daughters" episode). Her most recent role was in the short-lived 2005 ABC series Night Stalker. She has also starred in the independent drama films Neo Ned and Constellation.

In May 2001, Union married NFL player Chris Howard of the Jacksonville Jaguars. In November 2005, the couple separated.
