Adriana Francesca Lima was born in 1982, in Salvador, Brazil, best known as one of the faces of Victoria's Secret. The blue/gray-eyed beauty can attribute her exotic good looks to her French, Portuguese, Native-American, and Caribbean heritage.

At the age of 15, she finished 1st place in a Ford Supermodel of Brazil model search. Lima later followed with a 2nd place finish in the 1996 Ford Supermodel of the World contest. Once there, her modeling portfolio only began to expand exponentially, after appearing in Vogue (Italy) in 1997, as well as Vogue (UK), I-D (UK), Marie Claire (Brazil), and Vogue (Italy) in 1998. Adriana has also appeared in Vogue (US, Germany, UK), and Marie Claire (Italy) all in 1999.

For the Vogue photo sessions she presents top-knotch designers such as Cynthia Rowley, Vera Wang, Christian Lacroix, Emanuel Ungaro, Betsey Johnson, Girls Rule, Richard Tyler, Giorgio Armani, Fendi, Randolph Duke, Ralph Lauren, and Valentino.

The most remarkable model session of Adriana is her performance for Victoria's Secret summer 2000 swimwear catalog (shot in Cannes), where she works in the company of super models such as Heidi Klum and Laetitia Casta.

After her participation at elevision's Victoria's Secret fashion show in 2001 and 2003 her rating escalates to a considerable extent. In 2001 Adriana marks her first movie appearance: in The Hire: Follow where she co-stars Mickey Rourke.

She don't like traveling. and she has a little bit of a fear of flying.
