Julia Roberts was born in Atlanta, Georgia to Walter and Betty Roberts. Her father was a vacuum cleaner salesman, actor, and writer, and her mother was a church secretary and actress. As a child, due to her love of animals, Julia originally wanted to be a veterinarian, but later studied journalism.

Skinny like cane, with long legs and rich curly hair, she is more awkward than elegant. Her big grey eyes and big mouth can express the finest emotions on the screen. Her first break came in 1988 when she appeared in two youth-oriented movies Mystic Pizza (1988) and Satisfaction (1988).

From the moment of her appearance in the role of a street prostitute who wins the jack pot - the heart of the handsome millionaire - in Pretty Woman, Julia Roberts was announced as one of the brightest young stars in Hollywood.

The increased attention to her persona did not stop Julia from being Oscar nominated twice before celebrating her 24th birthday, and to be one of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood.

Her first husband name was Lyle Lovett; married on 25th June 1993 and recently Daniel Moder married on 4th Jly 2002 and has 2 children.
