Joshua Lucas Maurer

Joshua Lucas Maurer was born on 20th June 1971 in LittleRock, Arkansas. His parents name are Don Maurer and Michelle. He is an American actor. Josh Lucas is continuing to emerge as one of Hollywood's most engaging talents.

Lucas started acting in high school plays, and developed a strong interest in an acting career while attending Washington State Universiy.

Lucas gained exposure after his roles in Sweet Home Alabama, A Beautiful Mind, and as Glenn Talbot in Julk.

In the summer of 2003, Lucas starred opposite Jennifer Connelly and Eric Bana in Ang Lee's The Hulk, as well as Andy Tennant's Sweet Home Alabama, opposite Reese Witherspoon. In 2001, he appeared in Ron Howard's Academy Award-winning drama, A Beautiful Mind, in which he co-starred with Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, and Ed Harris.

Josh Lucas was a working actor for over a decade -- which included scene-stealing performances in Alive (1993), You Can Count on Me (2000), and The Deep End (2001) -- before he shot to stardom with high-profile roles in A Beautiful Mind (2001), Sweet Home Alabama (2002), and The Hulk (2003).

Lucas has dated actresses Salma Hayek and Connie Nielsen, but is currently single.
