Salman Khan

Salman Khan was born on 27th December, 1965 in Mumbai. He is a son of Salim, scriptwriter and Salma.

He is a Bollywood movie star. Salman Khan has made a career of losing his shirt and life is one long roller coaster ride for him.

Salman Khan had a low profile after his first appearence in Biwi Ho To Aisi. He rose to fame with the surprise hit film Maine Pyar Kiya and followed up with successful films such as Sajan, Andaz Apna Apna, and Hum Aapke Hain Koun. He has made a name for himself with soft-spoken romantic roles and later on playing the comic-boy lover to perfection.

In 1990, He win Filmfare Best Debut Award and Best Actor nomination for the role of Prem in Maine Pyar Kiya, In 1999, Best Supporting Actor win for the role of Aman Mehra in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, He won the Best Sensational Actor award for his role in Chori Chori Chupke Chupke at the 2002 Z-Gold Bollywood Awards.

Today he is a sought after hero, working with almost all top banners. On the personal front, Khan had lovely ladies as his women. Salman's love story began with Sangeeta Bijlani and had a well publicised affair with Aishwarya Rai. In a recently issued American magazine Salman was voted as the seventh best looking man in the world.
