Casta's career reportedly began when she was discovered by a photographer during a family holiday in her father's native Corsica, at age 15.

Casta is a supermodel and the official face of L’Oreal. Laetitia has been featured in Guess? Jeans campaigns - her first major American advertising campaign. She has also appeared in three consecutive Sports Illustrated swimsuit editions, Rolling Stone, Pirelli Tires Calendar, L'Oreal promotions, Victoria’s Secret, as well as hundreds of magazine covers. She also had a close relationship with designer Yves St. Laurent, whose outfits she would regularly wear at public appearances.

Casta is also prominently featured in the Chris Isaak video "Baby did a bad bad thing".

For now, Laetitia ''would like to continue modeling for as long as she can'', but she is interestedin getting married and having a family someday. She said that acting is also something that she would be interested in doing in the very near future.
