Will Arnett


Will Arnett was born on 1970 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

He is married to New York based Saturday Night Live Comedienne Amy Poehler.

He was a series regular on the short-lived Mike O’Malley Show, and was originally cast in the CBS sitcom Still Standing, but his character was cut from the series after the pilot. Arnett has also appeared in several films such as Monster-In-Law and recently finished filming both RV with Robin Wolloams and Let’s Go to Prison, a comedy directed by Bob Odenkirk.

Will Arnett began his career in acting in a small role on 'Sex and the City.' He moved onto roles in shows like 'The Sopranos' and 'Third Watch.' He appeared as a regular on the short-lived 'Mike O'Malley Show.'

He had a memorable turn on the hit NBC sit-com “Will & Grace” in 2004 as dancer Artemis Johnson—who vies with Sean Hayes’ Jack for a spot as one of Janet Jackson’s back-ups. A return to the big screen is marked by a feature role the Universal comedy “Monster-in-Law,” (2005) with Jennifer Lopez and Jane Fonda, and the 9/11 drama, “The Great New Wonderful” (2005).

In early 2005, Arnett filmed “Let’s Go To Prison,” a comedy about a criminal who teaches the naive son of a judge how to be a thief when they become incarcerated together.He is probably best known for his role as Gob Bluth on "Arrested Development".
